HairPlay

An independent editorial project

HairPlay publishes plain-language explanations of hair, skin and spa treatments, written for clients who want to understand what they're paying for. It is not a salon, does not sell any service or product, and has no commercial relationship with the brands or techniques mentioned.

Editorial approach

Each article covers one technique, one question or one common myth. We try to explain how things actually work, what the trade-offs are, and where the marketing language diverges from the science. When a claim is unsettled, we say so.

What we don't do

No advertising, no affiliate links, no "sponsored content," no recommended salons or brands. The site does not collect personal data beyond standard server logs.

Corrections

If you spot a factual mistake, we will correct it publicly with a dated note at the bottom of the article. We welcome substantive disagreement and will publish considered rebuttals.
